Location
The Billrothhaus – location of the Society of Physicians in Vienna – was opened in 1893. It is located in the heart of Vienna and one of the finest medical-historical monuments in Europe.
It is only a 5 minute walk from the Vienna General Hospital, the University campus and Schottentor. Public transportation: U2 Station Rathaus or Schottentor, Trams 5/33/43/44.
Description
The historic Billrothhaus, and with it the Society of Physicians in Vienna, combines the tradition of the Vienna School of Medicine with the requirements of a modern medical event venue.
In the traditional ceremonial hall of the Billrothhaus medical and scientific congresses, symposia and evening events can be held. The beautiful rooms (conference room / administrative room / reading room / library) are available for banquets, press conferences, consensus meetings, round-table discussions and meetings.
